From the modern history of Keramin JSC:
1996-2000: the 1st stage of general production reconstruction in collaboration with Sacmi Imola S.C., the world-wide leading Italian manufacturer of machinery for ceramics;
1996: participation of the President of the Republic of Belarus A.G. Lukashenko in the start-up of the RKS-1650 line for production of glazed ceramics;
1997: start-up of the 1st КАТ-1860 line (machinery of Sacmi Imola S.C., Italy) for production of porcelain Gres. Porcelain Gres is a highly-technological products of new generation of ceramics, which is not just an imitation of natural stones, but due to the use of natural raw materials and modern high technologies reproduces the properties of natural stones.
1998: start-up of the 2nd КАТ-1860 line (machinery of Sacmi Imola S.C., Italy) for production of porcelain Gres;
2000: beginning of the high-scale reconstruction of the ‘Stroyfarfor’ sanitaryware plant, a part of the Keramin JSC union;
2000: General Director of Keramin JSC A.D. Tutunov was granted the rank of ‘Honored Employee of Industry of the Republic of Belarus’;
2000: International Quality Standard ISO 9000 certification of Keramin products;
2000: assembly of the FMS-2500/113.4 line for production of glazed porcelain Gres. Nowadays Keramin JSC is the only CIS manufacturer of this unique in its beauty and technical properties product;
2000–2003: the 2nd stage of production reconstruction. The major part of machinery is updated. Assembly of Italian machinery of the «System S.p.A.» and implementation of the ROTOCOLOR technology of design application. It became possible to imitate various textures of natural stones, textiles, wood, and metal.
2003-2004: СТB ISO 9001-2001 certification of quality system of production of all types of tiles (including listels) and sanitaryware. This international standard guarantees compliance with all strict requirements for production, handling and storage;
2004 – 2005: installation of 3rd firing line of КЕМАС S.p.a., Italy, of listels production, and 2 lines of special decorative pieces production;
2005: the company was granted Ecological Compliance Certificate, which confirms the compliance of the company’s environmental controlling system of operation and production with the CTB ISO 14001-2005 requirements. It confirms safe for environment production and high standards of quality control;
2006: completion of full-scale reconstruction of the ‘Stroyfarfor’ sanitaryware plant. It’s one of the largest modern European plants with innovative production technologies, unique in ex-USSR;
2006: beginning of the 3rd stage of the company’s updating for innovative development. Participation in Cersaie 2006/Bologna, Italy /, the largest international ceramic fair.
